Holy Moly! What a surprise!

Several weeks ago, I received a complimentary copy of the Taste of Home 2011 Christmas book. Enclosed was a letter congratulating me because a recipe I submitted (eons ago) had been selected for this holiday edition. I've never been published before...but then again, I've never submitted anything for publishing before. I tweaked the recipe a bit for Taste of Home, so if you'd like to see the original recipe (using Zinfandel in the cherry sauce), here's the link:

So, run out as soon as possible and purchase your very own copy of this delightful Christmas recipe book, turn to page 158, then try this scrumptious recipe yourself! In addition to wonderful recipes and beautiful photographs (much better than mine, as a matter of fact...I never got the hang of food photography. *sigh*), it's full of decorating and craft ideas as well.

BTW...Happy Fall!
